GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — A Grand Forks woman is accused of stealing more than $73,000 from a local law firm where she was employed.
The Grand Forks Herald reports that 38-year-old Dawn Rose Ostenson has been charged with felony theft in Grand Forks County District Court.
Prosecutors allege Ostenson stole from Camrud, Maddock, Olson and Larson law firm from September 2010 to January of this year by altering business ledgers.
A court affidavit says Ostenson acknowledged stealing the majority of the money. A telephone listing for Ostenson was not working Thursday.
The charge carries a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
