LEEDS, ND (WDAZ-TV) - A 19-year-old man was injured Friday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 2 in Leeds, ND.

Brady Blazer of Leeds was airlifted from the hospital in Cando to Altru Hospital in Grand Forks. Blazer is in serious condition in the Intensive Care Unit, a nurse supervisor at Altru said around noon Saturday.

The Highway Patrol says 32-year-old Jaime Brent Snyder, of Gaston, SC, was heading east on Highway 2 from Minot in a 2007 International Semi.

At 2:30 p.m., Blazer was driving south on a gravel road in a 1995 Ford Bronco when the patrol says he failed to yield to Snyder at the intersection.

Snyder applied his brakes but couldn't avoid Blazer's vehicle and struck it in the rear passenger side. Blazer's car turned clockwise and down into the south ditch, rolled onto its roof and came to rest facing north. Snyder's semi had front-end and driver's side panel damage, but he was able to pull over to the side of the highway.

The patrol says Blazer was not trapped in the overturned vehicle. Charges are listed as pending against Blazer. Snyder wasn't hurt and both drivers were wearing seat belts.

The crash remains under investigation.
