JAMESTOWN, N.D. (AP) — A 25-year-old Pingree man has been sentenced to six months in jail after pleading guilty to charges of child endangerment and possession of drug paraphernalia.

KQDJ reports that Shawn Brian Johnson must also be on probation for two years following his release from jail and pay $950 in fees.

Prosecutors say Johnson allowed his 19-month old child to sleep in a room containing drug paraphernalia and in a home in which a controlled substance was being manufactured.

A co-defendant in the case, Brittany Koushkouski of Pingree, earlier pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia. She must pay $450 in fees.
