NEAR FISHER, MN (WDAZ-TV) - Three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash west of Fisher on Monday afternoon.
At 3 p.m., Darren L. Hollands, 28, of Fisher was driving a 2011 GMC Sierra, crossing Highway 2 from 210th St. when the State Patrol says he failed to yield.
Hollands struck a 2001 GMC Yukon driven by Anthony L. Eley, 43, of Thief River Falls.
Hollands, Eley and his passenger, Summer D. Barclay, 26, were taken by ambulance to Altru Hospital in Grand Forks. The patrol said their injuries were non life-threatening.
Traffic was reduced to one lane and directed around the accident scene Monday afternoon.
The Grand Forks County Sheriff’s Department, Polk County Sheriff’s Department, Fisher Ambulance, Fisher Fire Department, Altru and East Grand Forks Fire and Rescue responded to the crash.
Both vehicles were totaled.
According to an Altru nursing supervisor, both Hollands and Barclay had been treated and released and Eley was in satisfactory condition.
