A judge has dismissed felony pornography charges against a former Newfolden, MN, teacher who was accused of taking nude photos of a student.

29-year-old Justin Adelmann was charged earlier this year with three felony counts alleging he took photos of a 16-year-old female student. He was jailed under a $150,000 bond in Warren, MN.

State District Judge Jeffrey Remick dismissed all of the charges against Adelmann on Friday in a 63-page order. KTRF Radio reports that Remick said there was not probable cause that Adelmann violated state law and ordered his bail money returned.

Remick said under state law, what Adelmann was accused of did not qualify as criminal pornography.

Adelmann was put on leave by the Marshall County Central High School in Newfolden after his arrest. He no longer works there, according to a school spokeswoman.
