Man Accused of Smuggling $10K Through Pembina Port to Plead Guilty

(WDAZ-TV) - A man accused of smuggling cash into the United States at the border between North Dakota and Canada says he will plead guilty.

(WDAZ-TV) - A man accused of smuggling cash into the United States at the border between North Dakota and Canada says he will plead guilty.

25-year-old Cao Nguyen, of Richfield, MN, is charged with bulk cash smuggling into the United States.

Authorities say Nguyen knowingly hid more than $10,000 when he went through the Pembina port of entry on Sept. 7, 2009.

A change of plea hearing is set for July 27 in Fargo.
