GRAND FORKS (WDAZ-TV) - Red River BMX is back in Grand Forks after a year without it.
Bikers of all ages, from three to 45, meet Wednesday nights to compete on the dirt track. The new location is two miles west of I-29 on Highway 2.
Change and wet weather derailed the group a year ago, but now they're back. About 30 riders put the pedal to the metal each week in Grand Forks.
"We started on schedule, it took a lot of hard work from a lot of dads and volunteers. It's a really good thing for the kids. Last year, a lot, a majority of them had to go to Fargo or Fergus Falls to race and it gets to be a lot of travel. But now we're set up here," Red River BMX president Ron Martin said.
