GRAND FORKS - A farm worker appeared in court Monday on a felony charge of possessing child pornography including images of a victim younger than two years old being sexually assaulted.

60-year-old James Francis Miller was arrested Sunday. Assistant state's attorney Carmell Mattison said a search of Miller's apartment found 29,000 images on one hard drive, 90 percent of which were child pornography.

Mattison told District Judge Karen Braaten that the files were organized and one labeled for pre-teens and another for "babies."

Mattison said there could be more charges filed later in the week, calling it a "very egregious case."

Miller is originally from Michigan and said in court he has no ties to the region. Braaten set Miller's bail at $20,000. He's charged with a Class C felony, punishable by up to five years in prison and a $5,000 fine. A preliminary hearing is set for August 8.
