GFPD Gets 6 New Squad Cars

GRAND FORKS (WDAZ-TV) - Some officers with the Grand Forks Police Department spent Monday morning prepping six brand-new squad cars.

GRAND FORKS (WDAZ-TV) - Some officers with the Grand Forks Police Department spent Monday morning prepping six brand-new squad cars.

Officers have 22 marked cars and rotate them out every three years for safety reasons and because of maintenance costs.

The department recently switched over to Ford Interceptors after the Crown Victoria's, were discontinued.

Each vehicle costs nearly $25,000.
