Missing VCSU Student Found in Arizona

Valley City officials have closed the missing person case for a woman missing since July 4, according to the Valley City Police Department.

Amber Glatt, 22, was reported missing last week by Andy Mushet, her boyfriend. Authorities had searched in rural Barnes County over the weekend for her. Glatt has had a head injury and occasionally suffers from amnesia. Officials speculated she was having an amnesiac episode when she disappeared.

VCPD officials said in a press conference that Glatt was found Tuesday morning in Coconino County, Arizona, after a man she was traveling with called authorities in Arizona and Glatt’s mother in Virginia.

Glatt was transported to Page, Ariz., where she was being held for observation, according to Cmdr. Rex Gilliland of the Coconino County Sheriff’s Office.
