Fire Destroys GF Garage

GRAND FORKS (WDAZ-TV) - An early-morning fire destroyed a downtown Grand Forks garage on Tuesday.
Grand Forks firefighters found flames and heavy smoke coming from the garage on North 3rd Street at about 5:30 a.m.
Authorities say the fire started behind a freezer due to insufficient ventilation. It spread to the plywood wall behind the freezer and eventually caused the garage to be a total loss, including its contents.
A neighboring garage sustained heat damage to its vinyl siding. There were no injuries.
