GF Man Who Fled From Police Reaches Plea Agreement
A Grand Forks man who tried to escape police by driving, running and swimming has reached a plea agreement with prosecutors.
Myles Stillman is charged with criminal mischief, fleeing and reckless endangerment.
The charges come after an incident in October.
Police say they tried to make a traffic stop on 32nd Avenue South, but Stillman took off at a high speed into a residential neighborhood and eventually stopped in a cul-de-sac.
Police say Stillman ran from them, then swam across the English Coulee into Sertoma park, where he was caught.
The plea agreement calls for Stillman to 30 days in jail.
