Vandals Mark GF Civil War Statue With Chalk
GRAND FORKS (WDAZ-TV) - A monumental statue was vandalized overnight in Grand Forks. There was no physical damage to the statue honoring Civil War veterans, which is nearly a hundred years old.By: David Schwab, WDAZ

GRAND FORKS (WDAZ-TV) - A monumental statue was vandalized overnight in Grand Forks.
There was no physical damage to the statue honoring Civil War veterans, which is nearly a hundred years old.
But vandals marked the monument with colored chalk, mainly at its base.
The statue stands on the corner of 6th Street South and Belmont Road. The city says it will be cleaned.
