North Dakota's continued economic success could mean another big tax break for residents.

Today, Governor Jack Dalrymple proposed a $545 million tax relief plan, to significantly reduce taxes.

The plan includes a 50 percent reduction in the average school district levy.

These tax reductions come after a $500 million cut in 2011, and a $400 million cut in 2009.

The owner of a $180,000 home, would pay $1,100 less in property taxes.

Dalrymple says that by the end of 2015, people in North Dakota will have paid $2.25 billion less in taxes than they would have paid had the Hoeven and Dalrymple packages not come forward.

Ryan Taylor, Dalrymple's opponent in the race for governor, says that this a delayed reaction to public outcry.

Taylor released a tax relief plan more than two months ago.
