Kids in Rugby stepped back in time to find out what life was like for the pioneers who settled North Dakota more than 100 years ago.
The Pioneer Village Museum was overrun by children in straw hats and bonnets who learned how settlers lived. Throughout the week they went to a prairie school, learned to cook and churn butter and even discovered what doing laundry was like before electricity. Kids say they like living without modern luxuries for a week but they're glad they have washing machines and Tvs back at home.
The kids will come back this Sunday to show off their new old-time skills at the museum's annual village fair.
