Jury Selection Begins for Man Accused of Killing Somali Immigrant
The trial is underway for a Jamestown man accused of murdering a Somali immigrant.
JAMESTOWN, N.D. (AP) The trial is underway for a Jamestown man accused of murdering a Somali immigrant.
Lawyers are in the process of picking a jury to hear the case of 34-year-old Leron Howard. He has pleaded not guilty in the April 2011 death of 18-year-old Abdi Ali Ahmed. Ahmed was beaten and stabbed before he was dumped in a ditch near Spiritwood. An accomplice, 22-year-old Janelle Cave, has already been convicted of manslaughter. She is expected to testify against Howard.
