For the first nine months of the fiscal year, Arctic Cat of Thief River Falls has increased net sales.
Arctic Cat earned $2.6 million dollars in the third quarter that ended December 31.
Arctic Cat CEO Chris Twomey tells WDAZ they had to revamp their market plan.
Twomey says given the current state of the economy, any increase is good news.
"Based on difficult markets we operate in, given the recession that's going on, we were able to have a $2.6 million dollar profit compared to a $2.7 million dollar loss on higher sales during the third quarter sales last year," Twomey said.
Thief River Falls' Arctic Cat is one of the largest employers in the area.
