The Grand Forks Sheriff's Department used G-P-S to track a Rugby man driving a stolen vehicle in Minot.
39-year-old Sandon Erickson was traveling east on highway 2 with the stolen vehicle when he was pulled over and arrested. He's charged with Posession of a Stolen Vehicle, Criminal Mischeif, and Driving under Suspension.
Sheriff Bob Rost says, "On-Star" kept track of the location until law enforcement officers made contact with the 2007 red Saturn Vue.
Rost: "We were out waiting for him at mile marker 349 which is between the grand forks airport and the grand forks air force base and we stopped him without incident out there and he was arrested for theft."
Officers say Erickson was arrested without incident.
