New UND Students Learn How to Get Involved on Campus
New UND students spent the day getting acclimated to college life at the Annual Involvement Expo.
The expo is a way for new students to get involved on campus and in the community. Nearly 200 campus departments, businesses and student organizations took part in the event.
Missy Burgess, UND Student Involvement: "Sometimes it's difficult as a new student to go into a business you've been into or go to a student organization meeting if you've never met anyone. This is kind of a very safe, fun way to get to know everybody whether you're a quiet person or an extrovert."
The event draws in hundreds of students throughout the day.
