Two people were injured in an early-morning accident today when a man drove into Taco Johns on South Washington Street.
30-year-old Andre Witt from the Chicago area was driving a Chevy Tahoe northbound on South Washington about 4 a.m. when he lost control of the vehicle and crashed into Taco John's, damaging a large window in the building.
Wiitt and a passenger in his vehicle, Chad Zursluh, 23, from Iowa were taken to Altru. Zursluh was treated and released. Witt is still at Altru in satisfactory condition.
