A Crookston man who may be responsible for the murder of a Thief River Falls woman made his first appearance in court today.
31-year-old Jedidiah Dean Troxel is in custody and police say he's the main suspect. Bail is set at 1-point-5 million dollars.
Police found 40-year-old Tanya Kazmierczak's body near the Red Lake River early Sunday. Troxel faces a second-degree murder charge in connection to the death of Kazmierczak. Troxel's next court date is set for October 29th.
