Andel Family Hopes to Make a Difference to Teens, Parents in Despair

Two years after a Cooperstown family lost their 16-year-old girl to suicide they hope the loss will somehow touch another teen or parent facing despair.

Cassidy Andel was allegedly bullied through texting and Facebook by other high school teens over petty small-town gossip and lies. It was the start of her sophomore year, and the last days of her life. The family is gathering loved ones to team up for the upcoming "Out of the Darkness Walk" in Fargo later this month. The walk is set for Sunday, September 23rd at Fargo's Lindenwood Park. It starts at two.
