A new study might make you think about wiping down your cell phone before making that next call. It shows a toilet seat has fewer germs than a typical phone.

In fact while most of us try and touch as little as possible in a bathroom you might be surprised which items in your world harbor the most bacteria. The study found there were up to 10 times the amount of bugs which can cause nausea and stomach problems on that phone than the lavatory. Dr. Augusto Alonto from Sanford says a phone can quickly get germ build up because its in contact with our our dirtiest places our hands and mouth.

Dr. Alonto says the thing number one thing to remember to take away from this is clean your phone often.
