(WDAY TV) -- We now know more about that fatal crash on I-94 you first heard about here on WDAY/WDAZ, last last night.

The victim in that accident is a 40-year-old from Casselton. Police say just after 11, a driver veered into the median, smashed through a guardrail and then dropped into a coulee.

The driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, died from injuries at the scene. It happened two miles west of West Fargo.

Moments before the car burst into flames, a passerby pulled the victim from the car, but it was too late.

Troy Hischer with the North Dakota Highway Patrol says, " they saw the vehicle go down into the coulee, ran over the bridge tried to do first aid/cpr on him but he had passed away."

Meantime, a 26-year-old man from Climax, Minnesota died in a single-vehicle rollover last night. It happened around 11:30 on Trail County Road 21. That's about 9 miles east of Buxton.

State patrol says the man lost control of his truck and rolled. The victim was ejected from the vehicle.

The crash is under investigation.
