Eight of Minnesota's State Patrol's ten Dispatch Centers are set to close including the center in Thief River Falls.
It's part of a consolidation of the Public Service Answering Points or PSAP which will be merged into two locations one in Roseville and the other in Rochester. In anticipation of the merger through attrition only two dispatchers remain at the Thief River Falls PSAP. They will have the option to transfer to the other dispatch centers when closes October 10th.
