Devils Lake Author Returns Home to Speak with Middle School Students

If you're a fan of Spiderman and the Incredible Hulk there's a chance you've read the work of Devils Lake Native Dwight Jon Zimmerman.

If you're a fan of Spiderman and the Incredible Hulk there's a chance you've read the work of Devils Lake Native Dwight Jon Zimmerman.

The noted author came back home this week and shared his story with students at Central Middle School. Zimmerman says he was just a geeky kid in Devils Lake writing his own comics but after a 30-plus year career as a writer he hopes to show kids in Devils Lake you can make it big no matter where you come from. There's also an event starting at seven P-M tonight at the Devils Lake Chautauqua where Zimmerman will talk about his career and sign books for fans.
