Hundreds of students in East Grand Forks saw a powerful presentation today urging them to create a culture of kindness and compassion.
Central Middle School and Senior High are hosting "Rachel's Challenge" this week. The program is based on the writings of 17-year-old Rachel Scott who was the first student killed at Columbine High School in 1999. The presentation addresses the problem areas like bullying, student isolation, teen suicide and school violence. Many students seemed to relate to the message.
The community is invited to see the Rachel's Challenge presentation at East Grand Forks Senior High tomorrow evening at 7 o'clock.
