Grand Forks Woman Named Adult Educator of the Year

An instructor at the Grand Forks Adult Learning Center is being recognized as North Dakota Adult Educator of the year.

An instructor at the Grand Forks Adult Learning Center is being recognized as North Dakota Adult Educator of the year.

Joyce Belbas received the award in Bismarck. She's not only a social worker but she's also the correctional center educator, assistant instructor at community high school and has two other part-time jobs. A co-worker nominated her because despite being rather busy she is always there for people who need her. Only one person wins the award each year.
