BROOKLYN PARK, Minn. (AP) - One more candidate is jumping into
the crowded governor's race.
Businessman Peter Idusogie is set to announce his candidacy on Wednesday in Brooklyn Park. He becomes the 14th Democrat to seek the state's highest office.
Idusogie ran for Congress in Minnesota's 2nd District in 2004
and 2008, when he was passed over for the Democratic-Farmer-Labor
Party's endorsement. He also ran for U.S. Senate as an independent
candidate in 2006.
Thirty candidates are angling to succeed Republican Gov. Tim
Pawlenty when he steps down at the end of his second term.
