Fatal Crash Near Cando
Two people have been killed in an accident on North Dakota Highway-17 about 13 miles west of Cando.
Two people have been killed in an accident on North Dakota Highway-17 about 13 miles west of Cando.
The accident happened about 9 o'clock this morning when a car driven by a 24-year-old man from Belcourt failed to negotiate a curve and struck a semi pulling an empty hay rack trailer. A 24-year-male driver from Belcourt and his 19-year-old passenger also of Belcourt died. A second 19-year-old female passenger was injured. Their names have not been released pending notification of relatives. The driver of the semi truck was not hurt.
