A traditional band from Indonesia is sharing its music and culture in the Lake Region this evening.
Members of the Cudamani group begin practicing music and dances in the Bali province of Indonesia when they were just five. They brought a lifetime of Indonesian music to share with audiences throughout Devils Lake this week. The group taught a workshop on their music at Devils Lake schools. The group has toured the US for a decade but this is the first time in the Midwest. Even though the group comes from halfway around the world members say their music can still speak to people here. The group will appear in concert at Lake Region State College tonight at 7:00.
