Community Gathers at Bathgate, ND to Aid in Harvest

There was a big show of community support today near Bathgate, North Dakota. Family and friends gathered there to bring in the sugar beet crop of a man who died unexpectedly this spring.

There was a big show of community support today near Bathgate, North Dakota. Family and friends gathered there to bring in the sugar beet crop of a man who died unexpectedly this spring.

Every so often you hear of this kind of harvest bee to help out a family who has experience a great loss and it's no less impressive when you see a community pull together to get something done for a good cause. All the equipment, labor and fuel was donated for today's harvest with the family helping to provide lunches. David Schwab has more.
