People near Drayton gave a big helping hand today as they harvested crops for a friend in need.
Farmer Travis Uggerud's wife Jenny was in a car accident recently. As she recovered in the hospital Travis faced a beet harvest while taking care of their two young kids. Beet harvest is an intense time when farmers have to put in a lot of hours to get the crop in and that is why this community stepped in. The Drayton school helped out today as well with the senior class coming out to serve those helping a hot lunch.
