Haga Raise Prompts Salary Freeze, Policy Review by Grand Forks City Council

Grand Forks city council had another heated discussion over Government Relations Officer Pete Haga's $25,000 raise tonight. That discussion then turned debate over the city's current salary policy of ten years.

Grand Forks city council had another heated discussion over Government Relations Officer Pete Haga's $25,000 raise tonight. That discussion then turned debate over the city's current salary policy of ten years.

Council President Hal Gershman made a motion which was later approved to freeze all salaries above $75,000 for the 2013 budget pending additional policy review by city council. Melanie Orlins has more.
