UND will have a new Director for Public Safety and Chief of Police.
Eric Plummer is the current Chief of Police at Southern Arkansas University. Plummer will oversee environmental health and safety, the Environmental Training Institute, Emergency Management and the Operations Center and University Police Department. Plummer will replace Grand Forks Police Lieutenant Jeff Burgess who currently serves as the University’s interim chief. Plummer starts his position at UND on October 15th.
