Grand Forks has a new claim to fame, a calendar girl. But not the kind you may think...
She's a 2-year-old ragdoll cat named Esther. Her owner Jan Wunderlich of Grand Forks has been buying page-a-day cat calendars for the past 20 years and finally in 2013 her cat Esther will be featured in the calendar. The photo Jan submitted shows Esther sitting on a laptop and it will be seen by cat lovers around the world when they flip to Tuesday, August 27th. Jan says Esther is so famous she had to make her a Facebook page. Her Facebook name is Esther Cat.
