11 Homes, 24 Structures Destroyed in Karlstad Fire Aftermath

State officials now say 11 homes and 24 other structures were destroyed by the wildfire that threatened the northwestern Minnesota town of Karlstad.

State officials now say 11 homes and 24 other structures were destroyed by the wildfire that threatened the northwestern Minnesota town of Karlstad.

Karlstad was busy today as fire crews doused hot spots and some families discovered what they had lost. It might be awhile before debris cleanup but firefighters hope the change in weather will help them put the smoldering fire completely out. Officials haven't pinpointed a cause to the fire yet. David Schwab has more.
