With just 29 days until the election now candidates are hoping to get senior citizens in our community more informed.
For the rest of the month candidates are speaking each Monday at the Grand Forks Senior Center. Today they heard from candidates for District 42 House. Republican Mike Peterson and Democratic candidates Kylie Oversen and Corey Mock spoke at the Senior Center on issues like medicare and health care reform. Seniors say it's important for them to hear directly from candidates and get to know them as more than just names on a ballot.
Next week Senate Candidates for District 42 will speak followed by House Candidates for District 18 on October 22nd and Senate Candidates for District 18 on October 29th. The events are free and open to the public.
