UPDATE: Xcel Employee Listed in Good Condition After Receiving Electrical Shock

An Xcel Energy employee is in good condition this evening after receiving a severe electrical shock on the job.

An Xcel Energy employee is in good condition this evening after receiving a severe electrical shock on the job.

40-year-old Jason Roger Rasmussen of Grand Forks was shocked while working on a transformer box in the 2900 block of South Columbia Road around 9:30 yesterday morning.

He was taken by ambulance to Altru Hospital and later airlifted to Regions Hospital in St. Paul where he is listed in good condition this evening.
