North Dakota's Attorney General wants tougher laws when is come to synthetic drugs.

North Dakota's Attorney General wants tougher laws when is come to synthetic drugs.

He says right now laws do not go far enough to protect people from dangerous chemicals used to manufacture substances, some of which are even legal. Stenehjem's office is drafting legislation to make the substances illegal if they have a core chemical that's common to different types of synthetic marijuana or hallucinogens. These proposed laws for North Dakota would be the first of their kind and could be a model for other states.
