Lake Region State College Receives Ag Grant

Lake Region State College is receiving a nearly $300,000 grant to develop a training program for the agriculture industry.

Lake Region State College is receiving a nearly $300,000 grant to develop a training program for the agriculture industry.

The new project will provide skill-based training on the use of 'precision' agriculture, like using soil sampling and information management tools to improve production. LRSC officials say agriculture continues to be the #1 sector of our state's economy, and this initiative will assist the state in moving towards an even higher level of efficiency.
