Cassidy Aslakson, 18, Grand Forks, was taken to Altru Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after the accident, which occurred at about 6:51 a.m., according to Grand Forks Police Department.
The report said Aslakson was driving a 2000 Pontiac Grand Am southbound on Washington Street, crossing the intersection, when her vehicle was struck by a 2008 Acura driven by Kevin Panico, 41, Grand Forks. The Panico vehicle was attempting to turn west onto DeMers Avenue at the time, police said.
