Police say a 22-year-old Warren, Minnesota man fired a gun inside a home, narrowly missing a Marshall County Sheriff's deputy.

He's in custody at the Marshall County jail tonight and could face a total of 81 years in prison. Shawn Lossing faces six felony charges and two misdemeanor charges including attempted murder. Police say they got a call of a domestic fight on October 16th saying Lossing was intoxicated and breaking things in a Warren residence. Police say Lossing lowered a shotgun and pointed it at a deputy. Just as the deputy grabbed the barrel of the gun to point it away Lossing fired the gun and the shot missed the officer. Lossing will be in court tomorrow at 9 am.
