Four Recovering After Capsizing Boat Near Bemidji

Crews rescued four hunters after their boat capsized in frigid water near Bemidji. A boat carrying duck hunters capsized 200 yards from shore near Woodhaven Resort on Three Island Lake near Bemidji about 6:40 last night.
Three 19-year-olds and an 18-year-old, all from Minnesota, were found floundering in the water near their boat in 10 to 12 feet of waters. According to witnesses, the boys had lifejackets, but weren't wearing them when their boat capsized. All are expected to fully recover.
