Plummer Sworn in as UND Chief of Police

UND has a new chief of police. Eric Plummer was sworn in this morning. He will act as both the new chief of police and director of public safety.

UND has a new chief of police. Eric Plummer was sworn in this morning. He will act as both the new chief of police and director of public safety.

Plummer comes to UND from Southern Arkansas University where he served as chief of police since 2007. He says the decision to come to Grand Forks was an easy one. Plummer says he's big on outreach into the community and plans to get involved not only with students and faculty but also with Grand Forks residents.
