Grand Forks Hires Firm to Review Salary Policies

Grand Forks' Finance Committee recommended the council hire a private firm to review the city's human resource policies and salary plan.

Grand Forks' Finance Committee recommended the council hire a private firm to review the city's human resource policies and salary plan.

This decision comes after weeks of debate over Community and Government Relations Officer Pete Haga's nearly $25,000 raise. The finance committee unanimously decided it's best to have an outsiders perspective when reviewing the current policy, one of which has been in place for the past 10 years.
