He was a master of psychological horror and an article about writer Edgar Allen Poe by a University of Minnesota Crookston professor has been published just in time for Halloween.

Rachel McCoppin teaches in the Liberal Arts and Education department at the University. McCoppin's article about the master of the macabre appears in the book "Adapting Poe: Re-Imaginings in Popular Culture.” It compares Poe's narrators to leading characters in popular films.
