McCain in Grand Forks to Support Berg, Tour UND UAS Center

Former presidential candidate Senator John McCain is in Grand Forks to shore up support for senate candidate Rick Berg. The senator spent the afternoon touring UND's UAS Training Center at the airport.

During the tour McCain visited the UAS simulator training, UND's flight and maintenance operations and the university's unmanned aerial vehicle displays. Congressman Rick Berg and Senator John Hoeven accompanied McCain, who told the crowd that he remembers getting a tour of UND Aerospace in its infancy and is impressed with how far the institution has come. Tonight McCain will join Governor Jack Dalrymple as the featured guest at US senate candidate Berg's campaign rally at the Canad Inn.
