The National Weather Service predicted the largest snowfall of the season so far, and that's exactly what we got. People across the state spent the morning digging out from inches of snow.

The National Weather Service says some areas of northwest North Dakota got up to 18 inches of snow over the weekend. Crosby was slammed with 18 inches. Williston got 12 inches. Here in Grand Forks only about one inch fell over the weekend but if you head just 90 miles west, more than six inches fell in Devils Lake and seven inches near Starkweather, as well as freezing rain throughout Ramsey County.
