University of Minnesota - Crookston Among Those Honoring Veterans Today
The University of Minnesota - Crookston honored veterans today with a special flag raising and wreath ceremony.
A veterans day ceremony was held with a flag raising at 11:11 this morning at the University of Minnesota - Crookston.
The time ties into the origin of the holiday. A wreath ceremony was also held at the Soldiers and Sailors memorial on campus. Students and organizers say it's a tradition that has gone on for years and it's an important day to remember. The Soldiers and Sailors memorial on campus is 92 years old.
